Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English artist and singer. She is known for her unique music style, which mixes soul, pop, electropop and hip-hop, Jessie garnered much fame at a young age. Jessie has also won numerous awards and nominations, for instance, the 'Critics Choice Brit Award', and the BBC's Sound of 2011.' The career of Jessie began at the early age of eleven after she got a role in 'Whistle Down the Wind,' a musical that was written by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. The year 2002 was the time she was a part as a part of"The Late Sleepers," a "National Youth Theater" show "The Nightmares." Her debut album "Who You Are" was released in February 2011. It was her biggest hit that year. It was an instant success. Within the first few days it sold 105,000 copies in the UK and 34,000 copies in the US. The album debuted at the number 2 on the UK Albums Chart' and in the top 11 spot on the US Billboard 200.' Jessie is also known for her charity work, and has been involved with charities like 'Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief.'
